8:03 - The Last Wish
By Lucian before them, the adventurers found themselves in front of the temple got round to a tower collapsed, probably a bell or something like that. The snow covered the wreckage turns everything into a white landscape. "The giant came from here." Lucian said, pointing to the tower. Climbed the walls, left in half. 'll Remember his huge footprints and followed them seeing them enter through a large breach in the walls of the temple. They were about to enter, when they realized that the noises came from the area where it had happened the previous clash. Lucian, again, quickly slipped on the snow up to appear on the widening of the colonnade. Several giants of the ashes came out and were preparing to defend the entrance. A cleric, possibly the head of the religious sect, dressed in heavy coats and a stick the size of a tree tight in his hands. Growled something in the language of the giants, and some of his men climbed down the slope in search of adventure.
"How did they dissolve my wall of force?" He wondered Krison.
"We go from the back!" Lucian suggested. But they became immediately aware that the passage on the back was not unattended. "I have an idea!" Suggested that the magician of the group, calling the others around you. Tracing a drawing with his finger on the snow, he explained what he had in mind:
"I'll put other walls of force, so as to close some of the giants in isolated compartments. Then we teleport inside the precincts of power, and face them one by one. "
looked like a perfect plan. All agree.
Krison embarked upon a invisibility and took flight. Unnoticed, down, threw his spells. Four giants found themselves suddenly surrounded by an invisible force field, then a second force field they divided two by two others. They did not have time to realize what was happening, that Krison rushed by his teammates and touching them teleported within the field of strength. The giant who was turned in and shook his ax realizing that others were unable to reach it. But he could not use it because the attacks combined Gordianus, Lucian Ivan and pushed him violently against the invisible wall slaughterer of lethal blows and blows.
They felt clever and successful, no one had realized that he locked in a death trap. The cleric
thundered a series of incomprehensible orders, and while his voice still echoed through the trees of the valley, the other giant raised his arms to the sky almost in unison. The shroud of souls that surrounds them began to scream and screech so loud that Ivan was left stunned by the complaints. Then the heavens opened, the clouds grew red and full of fire. The air brightened with a warm supernatural. And finally ... a series of columns terrible blazing down from heaven, focusing in the force field created by Krison, within the invisible walls where the adventurers were closed. One, two, three ... columns of fire shooting down on them violently, burned, charred, burning everything. Gordianus able to avert a force with a bouncing between the walls and the ground, and he saw his comrades fall one after another. Four ... five ... you are ... Lucian fell incinerated, then also Krison ... Finally, Ivan. The seventh and last column of fire had melted each worn by his friends in a sort of black sludge that covered their bodies. Gordianus realized that Ivan was still alive, although his body was devastated by burns. He noticed his shield, on which still shone bud of desire. Without thinking twice I grabbed him and used the power. He wanted none of this had happened, he wanted to go back just in time to save his friends ... but a desire is not a spell so powerful as it seems. Unable to break the laws of time for more than a few moments, the magic did everything he could. He sent back in time image of Gordianus, which he found himself in exactly the same position, but seconds before the launch giant columns of fire.
Gordianus front of him was, himself, who seemed the only one able to see it. He had a few seconds to persuade him to change the future. "Save the cheerleader! Save the world!" She said. Gordianus understood immediately. Block Krison, who was absolutely useless to cast a spell, and shaking him shouted: "Bring us out of here! We're all going to die !!!". When you pissed off a mezzodrago shouting something, you can hardly ignore it. Krison launched a new transporter and took away all the others, that still did not understand what was happening.
They moved quickly into the magic circle that he would have returned to the field of the ranger. Not all missions are resolved with a win, but at least they were all alive.

How To Make A Debate Thesis Statement On Abortion
8.02 - Giant Death
From the scorching heat of the desert storm that swept hell freezing the taiga north of Colle Ukron. With teleportation of Krison was a moment. And Akramil, who had no fur or heavy clothing which cover almost took a broncotracheite.
In the field of the ranger to find good Dunak Fird Regan, intent on downing hot brandy in the tent used as a tavern. Nearly all the rangers had returned to Colle Ukron during winter: the snow high, the time and the pitiless cold obstructing the rounds on patrol as well as the incursions of the creatures of the north. Regan arranged to break free from the grip of frost on himself by throwing some magic spell that allowed him to withstand bad weather even if dressed only in leather bodice. He welcomed the evventurieri, and asked the soldier involved the tavern to warm a glass of brandy for them.
The adventurers were intent on ending the threat of Linnorm , which had always been too far above the forces and capabilities of the contingent of rangers Ukron Hill. The same firm Regan considered a true suicide, "But you have no idea what you are going to face?" Asked repeatedly.
Linnorm The dragon was a kind of ancient, primitive, brutal, cruel. The equivalent of a hominid for a man. The Linnorm was what remained of the ancestors of the dragons. And the one in question was able to combine the little craft that had a large dose of luck, attracting around themselves a small coterie of Giant Death who was worshiped as a deity. Village of the giants, buried in the snow at the other side of the fjord, had concluded a treaty of tolerance with humans, even with the help of the giants of the oceans with the rangers who had formed an alliance. But the death of the giants who had left their community to found the cult Linnorm had been repudiated by their own people and would not have complied with the Treaty for a long time. However, so far, neither the Linnorm nor his followers had moved from their lair: a temple dedicated to some deity extinct lying abandoned for two hundred years in the taiga.
adventurers seemed convinced of their mission. Regan led them to a ring of teleport that would lead them to a location of sighting in the forest, about three hundred meters from the entrance of the temple. To go back would not have had to do was reach back and jump in the circle: a giant was too big to use it. But certainly it was better to act with deceit: if they had discovered the passage, they would have destroyed, and the next time the defense would be increased.
Krison knew the giants of death. A magical and mysterious race of giants known as the Giants Ash, able to snatch away the souls from defeated enemies in battle, as if they were to wear a shroud. Little was known of them, but their ties with the kingdom of death was likely to have many of the typical undead immunity. Gordianus hoped also to some weakness.
teletrasportatisi Once in the woods, the adventurers sank in the snow almost up to the groin. With a layer of snow three feet move would be a problem. The only one who can do it easily was Lucian, who was able to move the snow without sinking or trace.
They looked around. Apparently the entrance of the temple seemed unattended, but to the wide side entrance, after the columns collapsed, were visible the footprints in the snow of two large bipedal creatures: the two giants on guard were invisible. Krison used his magic to see them. Two giants of death, as expected. Devised a plan would be in the Krison sealed the door behind them with a wall of force , his companions would have attacked the guards. Gave way to dancing. Krison launched the force field magic behind the two giants. Dewen broke away several pearls from her necklace of fireballs and began to hurl them against the two giants ... or better if he had seen their footprints! The fireballs exploded instantly every trace of melting snow within twenty feet around the door. the flames burned the giants who, though invisible, were not immune to magic. But there was a flaw in the plan: Lucian apart, the other group were in big trouble ahead for race three hundred meters high in the snow. One of the two giants, after attempting to dissolve the magic wall, ran away. Krison only saw him as he turned the corner and disappeared over the building. The other threw his opponents a powerful magic spell of the sacred: a column of fire sprang from the sky and fell upon Ivan and Gordianus. In this way, however, broke the invisibility. Then began to magically heal the wounds that were inflicted so far.
"Come with me!" Krison said, grabbing Dewen and teleporting from Gordianus and Ivan. He gathered around him all his companions and a second dimensional leap reappeared at the foot of the giant death. Dewen attempted an acrobatic leap to jump on his head, but the giant interposed his hand and the thief could not help but fall back to earth. Then came the mighty blows of Ivan and Gordianus. The giant staggered and then fell to the ground lifeless.
A swarm of souls groan rose from his body emitting piercing screams. Rose in the sky for a moment, then disappeared.
