have recognized the stupidity, ignorance, escape. They pushed off a cliff to the right to education, learning, the desire to create, to learn. They spat at the intelligence, research and culture.
Who are we? Why a young man must feel humiliated by the State to grow and to praise him?
This morning throughout Italy for the poor wretches have gone around the city shouting against a wall so high as to be indifferent to blood.
These guys, these guys today against the snow, cold, blocked roads, stations, airports, highways, squares and monuments. These people, humiliated them, they are not communist insurgents who want to study, having a good time to take bronchitis and fever because they are vandals who just want to create turmoil and violence. The good, the ones who can afford it, stay home.
I got up at 7 because my phone has betrayed me. I put the alarm clock at 5:30, is played at 7. In a hurry I am changed and I ran in front of Palazzo Nuovo. The meeting was at 7, I got there at 8. There were already many and many like me have come late. We were very many. We are really bad guys. Osservateci: people disappointed, weary from days of protests and occupations, poor eating and eaten quickly, too many cigarettes and late nights thinking about how to plan for tomorrow. Look at that guy: he smiles, still smiling. And yet the one next to him stretch his cheeks showing his teeth. And the one behind it? And you? Look how beautiful they are, they laugh and jump and scream their pain, their dissent against the violence that the government is providing us. I see many children like me who shuffled in order ice cream and march to the various streets and squares of Torino. Blocks for our rights and we are the boys. Some honk, some elderly show us, in many cars and shut down and talk to us.
In these busy days at the Palace, if you happened to pass, saw many people sitting in study. These are the guys who do not want to do, according to one who governs us.
I followed directly on certain parts of the DDL, I also saw the final vote. I felt bad dog everywhere, as if all the fatigue these days it exploded all at once. I followed the last speeches before the vote, and I wanted to laugh as much hypocrisy and lies I've found, how much disgust I felt when sitting at the end there was just silence and then off to the new issues to deal with (we honor students and researchers in this fight, do not have factions and physical support from these politicians to vote early and abandonment).
Instead I've laughed and I thought to tomorrow, to what will happen. I closed the direct and I started seeing all those people who will be enclosed in a black circle to think "what shall I do? Where will I go? "Why?". I thought the South, to my land, to all those guys that, even with thousands of hard work, study and can no longer move and try to have a different vision and openness (because, as was also said to Mandela: once you leave and after returning to find out what really is your country and what to do about it). I thought the laughter of Gelmini and Berlusconi. I thought of all the barons and gangsters who will remain at their seats to run universities. I thought about our future, as always, is compromised and robbed.
We lost? I have to get away? How do I live now? And next year? And my dreams? My father as he will still support me? Who will teach me what will be lifted? With such resources, once over this tragedy entitled "University", will I work? Who do I ensure a happy life at least?
If anyone thinks it's over, I'm sorry it does not. It was hoped, but they still asked other naughty children are ready to climb that wall that separates them from freedom.
Everyone knows we are taking the piss. They're insulting as any other country ever has. We are guinea pigs. This is not democracy, this is not the Republic.
Perhaps there is a lot more to say, but the snow falls slowly and who knows how many more days I will see to dwell on my clothes and those of my comrades.
Once, when I was little, I am often ashamed to say that they thrived. I grew up below, understanding not to be offended by my land - she misses anything - but by those who govern and the great majority of the people who live there quietly and indifferent.
Now I can say that I freely admit to being Italian, unless it is a multimillionaire who is sleeping with girls, parties and creates wild orgies, which has the monopoly of state television, which has the power to be able to stain prevent crimes and trials, etc.. etc.. Perhaps in that case, I would feel proud to be Italian.
you yes, Sign. President, that a good teacher, who loves his children and their future. Yet you sign. Gelmini. Yet she is really a good mother, one that all the children would like.
Make a pretty pair.
The government wants you to be well enough to never leave you alone.
How adorable is my country.
