The plaque in memory of 28 fallen soldiers from synth to give battle to the lich who lived below was still standing. Together with Gordianus discovered that a part of the floor sounded empty. With a little 'effort lifted the slabs of gray stone that formed the floor. Beneath one of them, down a dark and narrow pit. Krison threw a torch into the pit, and saw off the water.
The water was not exactly the best item to move, especially if it is loaded with metal armatures and dozens of pounds of equipment. The magic of Krison solved some problems, but when he began to slide Gordianus plunged in total darkness with no way out of the well.
The Paladin evoked one of his magical powers, and lit up. Underground space at the end of the shaft was opened revealing a huge underground cavity is completely filled with water. The silence, the cold and darkness enveloped Gordianus deep, he could not penetrate the darkness that enveloped him for more than three meters. While others were preparing to join him, a huge creature of the deep noticed a champion of light that floated into his hole. Gordianus noticed it on only when the creature opened its huge jaws to swallow him, and mezzodrago came face to face with a glowing mass of entrails that throbbed with fire and flames even if immersed in water colder. Ivan saw the light of Gordianus disappear. He realized that something had attacked him and walked toward him. Lucian, knowing that Genesis would work in the dark and under water, fired on the serpent of the abyss. The magic bullets Genesis overcame Ivan speed and penetrated hard in hot flesh of the monster. Gordianus meanwhile opened a road out, tearing the stomach of the snake. However Gordianus failed to reopen it (in fact, broke the wheel with which it had opened a bit earlier). Convinced that this was the passage that would lead them to the Shard, joined together to open it ... and they succeeded. The current sucked them away along the duct for different hundreds of meters. At the end of the race, they spat out from a cliff on the south coast of the continent.
Dewen grabbed the flight to a shrub.
"Where are we now?" He wondered Krison rising in flight. The answer was not long in coming. An angry farmer threatened them with guns they went to his property, and drove them away roughly. Walking back to the temple, which was at a quarter of an hour's drive north.
